Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Specialist with expertise in Manual and Automation Testing to design, execute, and maintain testing processes, ensuring high-quality software delivery and supporting release planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Core Testing Activities

• Develop comprehensive Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements for both manual and automated testing.
• Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms and environments.
• Document and communicate Test Results, Defect Reports, and Test Summary Reports.

Release & Deployment Planning

• Collaborate with Release team, project teams, and squads to plan and coordinate releases.
• Participate in release readiness reviews and post-release validations.
• Ensure test coverage and quality gates are met before deployment, including deployment plans and release notes validations.

Test Automation & Tooling

• Design and implement automated test suites using tools such as Cypress, ATF, and other modern frameworks.
• Maintain and optimize automation pipelines for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
• Integrate test automation with defect tracking and reporting tools.

Tools & Technologies

• Jira – Issue tracking and agile project management
• ServiceNow – ITSM and workflow testing
• Xray – Test management within Jira
• ATF (Automated Test Framework) – ServiceNow automation
• Cypress – End-to-end testing for web applications
• Familiarity with additional tools such as Selenium, Postman, TestNG, Git, and Jenkins is a plus

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
• Strong test automation experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Certifications Preferred

• ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced Level)
• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ATF Specialist
• Any relevant automation tool certification (e.g., Cypress, Selenium)
